Yellow Fever
In this award-winning short documentary, Kenyan filmmaker Ng’endo Mukii, inspired by her interest in the concept of skin and race and what they imply; and in “the ideas and theories sown into our flesh that change with the arc of time”, explores African women’s self-image. Through the use of memories, interviews; and mixed media, she describes their “almost schizophrenic pursuit of globalized beauty”.

Yellow Fever – brilliant movie, one of the best of its genre The ‘best’ term is as you know from a relative term: You or I may not even be on the list of someone else whom we consider to be ‘the best’. So the general rule is to declare the majority of nations. Like the best, though, for me, it can be considered the most beautiful movie ever made. I was so emotionally destroyed that I saw the entire movie three times on the internet almost in one go.
I’m the biggest fan in the world of movies like this The story is really solid, the pacing is great, and all of the actors give great performances. The sum of detail and little aspects of the movie that you can long time later is seriously amazing.
You do not have to fall in love with a documentary to enjoy this movie. I uploaded this movie to Watch Anime, so everyone now can see it online for free.
